Surf and Tour
The steak and lobster of all Alaskan kayaking trips. This trip is designed for intermediate paddlers only and is dependent on the tides so it will only be offered a couple of times during the summer. Clients should have a strong role and be comfortable in class III+ whitewater to fully participate.
This trip starts off as a sea kayaking trip and turns into a full on, world class tidal surf session. Trip begins at Clover Passage in sea kayaks and ends in Traitors Cove where the surf wave flows both ways. As with all surf sessions there is some quality down time with great exploring via sea kayak, abundant crabbing and fishing and a bear observatory all within a few miles. This trip is truly unique and the surf spot has only been paddled by a hand full of individuals and never offered to the public. This is a one of a kind trip. Special requests can generally be met. Base cost is $950 this includes equipment food transportation and guides. Fly ins and extended versions are available. Dovetail itineraries will receive discounts.
