Sea Kayak the Misty Fjords
This trip will change the way you look at so much. The Misty Fjords National Monument is a sea kayakers dream. Imagine sitting in your boat at the base of three thousand foot granite domes. Waterfalls cascade from summit to the ocean before your eyes in this truly unspoiled wilderness. Suddenly something breaks your trance and you realize there is a pod of Orcas breaching off in the distance. Just another day in the monument. This temperate rain-forest climate is one of the few truly pristine areas left in the US and there is no better way to see it all than in a kayak. We go out of our way to get you to the areas with the absolute least amount of other traffic.
At the beginning of each trip you and your party will be flown in to the monument via Seaplane where you will meet your guide awaiting your arrival with kayaks and equipment. This fly in offers yet another wonderful perspective and gives you the maximum amount of time in the monument. We plan these itineraries based around experience and personal expectations criteria. Offering four day, three night trips as well as seven day, six nights packages. Special requests can generally be met. Options dictate price and will be provided when you request further info.
